Karmara Holman

Karmara D. Holman is the CEO and Founder of The Hope Project.  She was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Graduating from Ben Davis High School and obtaining a degree in business management and ethics from Crossroads Bible College.

She has been married to Nello Holman Jr, for 23 years to this union they have two beautiful children Israel, 16 and Layla 10.  Mrs. Karmara Holman is also the 1st Lady Of Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church, where she also serves as the music director.

She currently also runs two apartment communities, for TWG Property Management. 

Karmara’s motto is “It’s them today but could be us tomorrow” She has always believed in lifting others up in their time of need.  Whether it is clothing, food, counseling, housing, the word of God, prayer, or encouragement.

In 2015 Karmara Holman started the B2BAB- Blessed 2 Be A Blessing Foundation along with her Pleasant Union Church Family.  Through this foundation, hundreds of individuals throughout the Indianapolis area were blessed with free food, clothing and introduced to Jesus Christ, this ministry is still very powerful today with the blessing of her wonderful church family.

In May of 2020 Karmara Holman accepting the calling on her heart, and finally started “The Hope Project Indianapolis, Inc” Which is now a 501C3 Organization. 

The Hope Project stands on the word of God Jeremiah 29:11-  For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Giving individuals in Indianapolis, hope, joy, love, and compassion.  Letting them know that there are individuals who care about them, and the problems they are going through.

Karmara Holman only has one request, of the individual’s  that come to this organization, and that is, when you get to where you need to be, go back and help someone else along the way.
